40-4-9.1. Joint Custody; standards for determination; parenting plan.
There shall be a presumption that joint custody is in the best interests of a child in an initial
custody determination.  In a case where joint custody is not agreed to or necessary aspects
of the parenting plan are contested, the parties shall each submit parenting plans.
